Rozemyn (1983) born in Amsterdam, is the daughter of legendary film financier Frans Afman. Growing up she spent her time between Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
Upon hearing the news of her father’s terminal illness, she decided to document the last few months of his life and tell her father's extraordinary story. Rozemyn's debut documentary Hollywood Banker (2014) was critically acclaimed and has been released in multiple international territories.
Her short documentary Alexander (2017) was nominated for Best Short Documentary at the Oakland Short Film Festival and screened at several international film festivals.
Rozemyn is passionate about people and takes a special interest in remarkable characters and their life journeys. She believes in the power of collaboration, so she takes pride in her relationships with her subjects and talented people in the film industry.
She is currently developing several new documentary projects, continuing her passion for extraordinary stories.
